Stay at a beachfront hotel with an on-site water park, go to an outstanding Pirate Show, and take a trip to Ben & Jerry's! This is a great first plane ride for kids, because it's short! For about $1,700, a family of 4 can enjoy a 4 day weekend in the sun (price includes airfare, rental car, parking, meals, snacks, entertainment, etc.)

Where to stay -- https://www.crownreef.com/ (Beachfront water park hotel) <-- sometimes on Groupon. The hotel has so-so reviews, but we really enjoyed our stay! We paid $441 for 3 nights, including water park admission for 4.
What to do -- Enjoy the ocean and water park, of course! There's a Ben & Jerry's ice cream place, a Ripley's Aquarium, and an amusement park downtown with plenty of kiddie rides.
